Saleh & AbdulAziz Abahsain Co Ltd; - KSA and Scott Bader, UK -- Joint Venture in UPR

S & A Abahsain, a leading manufacturing, trading and services company in Saudi Arabia has established a joint venture with Scott Bader- United Kingdom to produce and sell a wide range of Unsaturated Polyester Resin products in the GCC focusing strongly on the growing KSA markets. The joint venture will operate under the name Abahsain Scott Bader LLC.

Scott Bader is an internationally recognized producer of high quality products designed for the Composites industry. Under the new agreement, Scott Bader will provide technology
and know-how to the S & A Abahsain facility to ensure quality and safety standards and to meet the growing demand from local and neighbouring markets.

Mr. S. K. Maqsood, the Senior Director for Abahsain Chemical Group said " I am excited about the Joint Venture which builds on the strengths of Abahsain's position in Saudi Arabia complimenting Scott Bader's leading technology products". Mr. Philip Bruce, Scott Bader's Group Managing Director, said "the Joint Venture opens access to the fast developing Saudi Arabian and GCC markets, and together we see significant capacity growth over the coming years".

Abahsain Scott Bader has commenced testing of the Crystic® resin products produced in the Dammam plant and expects to supply existing and new customers in the coming weeks. Capacity growth is planned over the coming months.
